Boko Haram Attacks Garkida Town, Burns Living Faith, Eyn, Anglican Churches

Details reveal that boko haram attacked Garkida Town in Gombi Local Government Area, Adamawa State on Friday evening. The attackers stormed the city in 10 gun trucks and different motorcycles with at least two people.

They set fire to several houses, including those of prominent sons of Garkida, Market and Churches, namely The Church of the Brethren in Nigeria (Hausa: Ekklesiyar Yan’uwa a Nigeria (EYN), Living Faith Church as well as the Anglican Church. health center and 2 ambulances burned down, while another 2 were taken by the insurgents.

Unfortunately, 2 soldiers have also lost their lives, while civilian casualties have yet to be determined. The police station and the barracks were also burned.

Information also indicates that some people from the same city of Garkida recruited by the insurgents were the ones who selectively showed the insurgents what traits they should burn.
