Ondo Declares Today Public Holiday As President Buhari Visits

The government of the state of Ondo has declared Tuesday 25 February as a public holiday in honor of the president, Muhammadu Buhari, who will visit the state to open projects implemented by the government led by Rotimi Akerodolu.


This was contained in a statement from the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Mr. Donald Ojogo.

Ojogo said: “Governor Akeredolu says the public holiday is necessary for the state to welcome the president, who is expected to arrive in the state to usher in two major legacy projects, the Ore Industrial Hub and the Ore Interchange.

“These are part of activities on the occasion of the third anniversary of the administration.

“The governor expresses his appreciation to God for the journey so far, even if he instructs everyone to take advantage of this period to fully participate in the series of activities prepared for the anniversary celebrations.”
